Vision Day provides scheduled vision screenings for children ages 5-17.
When a screening identifies a possible concern, additional services may include:

A prescription for eyeglasses

Eyeglasses when appropriate
Adults may be screened if space and resources allow.

Is Vision Day free?
Yes, all services provided at Vision Day are free to participants.
My child doesn't speak. Can he still get glasses?
Children must be verbal and able to follow simple instructions to complete the vision screening.
Does every child receive glasses?
Glasses are provided when appropriate based on the participant's screening, examination, eligibility, and available program resources.
Will my child get their glasses at Vision Day?
No, glasses must be made by the lab and families will be contacted when they are available.
How long does it take to get glasses from Vision Day?
Usually glasses are ready in two to three weeks.
